Western Wonder Experience by Mauiva AirCruise from Los Angeles

7 days/6 nights western USA sightseeing<br>Travel between cities by private airplane

7 days/6 nights western USA sightseeing
Travel between cities by private airplane

See the most popular sights that North America has to offer on the Western Wonder Experience by Mauiva AirCruise from Los Angeles.

The Western Wonder Experience goes above and beyond the typical guided tour - literally! All aboard for a destination-hopping whirlwind week filled with strikingly beautiful sights in Monterey and Carmel, super-cool San Francisco, jaw-dropping Yosemite, the breathtaking Grand Canyon, and sinfully fun Las Vegas - all with uncompromising service and style. Overnight stops on this experience are Monterey/Carmel, San Francisco and Fresno in California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

On a Mauiva AirCruise, you trade the road for the sky. Trade many hours on a coach for just a few on a private plane. Imagine landing in a private airport after a short 90 minute flight and a deluxe coach is waiting plane-side to take you to Monterey's famous Fishermans Wharf. Within an hour of the plane landing, you are boarding a whale watching cruise. And, that's only the first of many sites you will see during your full Western Wonder Experience

Want to see the best of the Eastern United States in your own private plane? Be sure to check out our All American East Experience by Mauiva AirCruise from New York!

FOOD:

Unlike most guided tours, breakfast each day is included in the price. The first day, you hit the air flying right away. So, on each tour your first morning meal is provided at takeoff on the private plane (you won't be able to look at commercial airline food the same again!). Every subsequent breakfast will be at the hotel in that city. Some are continental with a hot element and some are full-on buffets, but all are definitely satisfying.

At lunchtime, you are let loose to do your own thing each day. Feel free to explore the area and try the local fare. Go as formal or casual as you'd like, as long as you're back at the bus on time!

Dinner each night is included as part of the price. Each area has been explored and restaurants hand-picked that provide a variety of taste experiences for your palette. Specially set menus just for Mauiva AirCruise typically include a salad, entrée and dessert (Unless, of course, you're at a buffet). Basic beverages are included (soft drinks, teas, juices); however, alcohol or special drinks will be an additional charge you will have to pay for separately if you so choose. Dinners are usually after the day's events and generally begin around 7:30 pm. Dress is casual but if you feel like dressing up a bit for the last night, no one will stop you!

Feast your eyes on the types of cuisine lined up:

  • Italian
  • Mediterranean
  • American
  • Barbeque Buffet
  • Mexican

Any special needs or dietary requirements should be made when requested on the Order Form during the booking process. When you make such requests ahead of time, your Travel Hosts will do their very best to accommodate your needs.

WHAT TO PACK:

Overall, this is a casual vacation experience, so shorts, T-shirts, slacks, trousers, casual skirts, blouses and sundresses will all work fine. Here are a few things you might not have thought about:

  • Shoes: Mauiva AirCruise experiences have moderate levels of physical activity (walking, hiking, etc). Please bring shoes you will be comfortable in and a extra pair in case of rain.
  • Kids: Mauiva AirCruise itineraries are family friendly. There are a few extra suggestions if you are traveling with little ones: extra shoes and socks in case they get wet, snacks, and in-transit entertainment (coloring book, portable game units, etc).
  • Fitness: Gym rats rejoice! All hotels have gyms, so bring your workout gear if that’s part of your vacation plan.
  • Swimsuits: Many hotels have pools, hot tubs, even water slides (yay for being a kid!) so pack that suit, flip flops and a cover up.
  • Medications: Be sure to pack prescriptions or medications you need. If you get motion sickness easily, consult with your doctor regarding medication (e.g. Dramamine).
  • Space: Be sure to leave some room in your luggage for souvenirs and mementos.

WHAT NOT TO PACK:

Weapons, illegal drugs and other items that could interfere with the safe operation of the AirCruise or the safe and secure environment of the guests and crew are prohibited. The following listed items and other similar items are not allowed and will be confiscated upon being found.

  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, flammable liquids, explosives, and dangerous chemicals will not be returned.
  • Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic replicas
  • Sharp Objects, including knives and scissors. Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length less than 4 inches are allowed.
  • Illegal Drugs & Substances
  • Candles & Incense
  • Coffee Makers, Clothes Irons, & Hot Plates
  • Baseball Bats, Hockey Sticks, Cricket Bats, Bows & Arrows
  • Skateboards & Surfboards
  • Martial Arts Gear
  • Self-Defense Gear, including handcuffs, pepper spray, night sticks
  • Flammable Liquids and Explosives, including lighter fluid and fireworks
  • HAM Radios
  • Dangerous Chemicals, including bleach and paint • Passengers found with any of these items might be asked to leave the Mauiva AirCruise and no refund will be issued.

WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS:

50-70% of AirCruise activities take place outside. Although there are alternative events, some attractions - such as the Grand Canyon - are naturally outside. So check the weather before you pack, and stock your bags with umbrellas, sunscreen, jackets, sunglasses and more to be prepared for whatever Mother Nature brings your way.

ACTIVITY LEVEL:

Each day of a Mauiva AirCruise is different (but all are fun!) and range from low to medium physical intensity. Because the plan is to ensure you have the opportunity to experience as much as possible, each day is packed with an incredible lineup of attractions, tours and parks. Your Travel Hosts guarantee you'll be excited to jump into bed upon hotel arrival!

Although there is plenty of time to sneak in naps during transit, you should prepare yourself for various walks through some of nature's most beautiful and unique landscapes, boat rides and other occasional bouts of light physical exertion. Remember, you always have the option of discussing alternatives with your Travel Host if you would prefer not to participate in an activity.

SECURITY GUIDELINES:

For Your Protection - Behaviors that could interfere with the safe operation of Mauiva AirCruise or the safe and secure environment of our guests and crew are prohibited. The following are examples of behaviors and situations that are not allowed:

  • If a guest is perceived to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs prior to or upon boarding, he/she may be denied permission to board, without right of refund.
  • If a guest is deemed to exhibit abusive or disruptive behavior prior to or upon boarding, he/she will be warned ONLY ONCE that such behavior must stop; and if such behavior continues, he/she may be denied permission to board, without right of refund.
  • If a guest is perceived to be engaging in illegal activity of any kind during a Mauiva AirCruise, he/she will be asked to leave immediately, without right of refund, and even at an unscheduled location if necessary, at which time he/she will be removed and law enforcement will be notified.
