See the beauty of San Francisco at twilight Let a Go Car guide you through a night on the town! Your GPS-guided tour in the snappy yellow vehicle begins with breathtaking views of downtown from San Francisco’s Historic Coit Tower, where you can watch the sun begin to set. Then you'll drive off to the Palace of Fine Arts lit up in all its glory in the hip Marina district. You’ll wander through Cow Hollow and Russian Hill to find some of the best shopping and bars. If you order the One Hour Tour, you'll finish your tour descending down ultra-crooked Lombard Street. For the Two Hour Tour, you can wind your way through Nob Hill and see Grace Cathedral, classic San Francisco architecture and mansions before preparing for an epic descent down California Street into the heart of the Financial District. There are gorgeous views of San Francisco skyscrapers including the Transamerica Towers as well as historic Chinatown. Finish off your tour with a jaunt down the Embarcadero before calling it a night. Tours are available in five different languages: English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. PLEASE NOTE: Rentals must be returned during office hours. Bright yellow and sporty, Go Cars look great, are simple to operate and fun to drive. They are street legal and fully equipped with turn indicators, break lights, a horn and headlights. A 50cc gasoline powered engine provides more than enough power to handle the steepest inclines hilly San Francisco can throw at them. Dual disc front breaks ensure crisp, reliable stopping power. The best thing about it, you're on your own schedule, not a tour bus operator's. Just take a car, see what you want and bring it back at the end of your allotted time. You'll have the time of your life in a convertible yellow talking car! The cars are approved for use on city streets, but not the bridges or freeways. These 3-wheeled cars seat two persons only and have a lockable trunk for your possessions. Their small size makes parking a breeze...and in San Francisco, that's a major bonus. They can even be parked in motorcycle parking or can legally share a metered parking space with a car if the meter is fed and the car isn't blocked. Renters must present a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age. All renters must be able to read, understand and sign the Go Car liability release and waiver form. Security Deposit & Insurance: You must present a major credit card for a $500 refundable security deposit. An imprint of the renter's credit card, along with a completed and signed rental agreement and liability waiver are required prior to the release of the vehicle. For vehicle insurance, as with rental cars, the driver can elect to purchase a collision damage waiver (CDW) - $9 per Go Car, covering the car for the day, limiting liability to $300. Insurance is payable on the day of the tour. The renter takes responsibility for the Go Car and their actions while driving the Go Car. Safety: Helmets are provided and are required by California law. All riders receive a full orientation. Where can you go: Exploring San Francisco is easy and fun with a Go Car. You can choose to follow the tour, or you can take your own tour of the city. Cars are not allowed on Interstates or on the Golden Gate or Bay Bridges. The only other constraint is that you must return the Go Car at the end of the time purchased (one hour or two hours).
