Cancellation Policy: Once confirmed, cancellations are only available for the entire Vacation Package. Cancellations submitted more than 4 days in advance of arrival date are subject to a $100 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance applied to a two year monetary gift certificate. Any cancellations made within 4 days of arrival date are non-refundable. If the Vacation Package hotel room becomes unavailable, customer can select an alternate hotel, reschedule for an alternate date, or be refunded in full. If any of the Vacation Package activities become unavailable, customer can select alternate activities, or be refunded a pro-rata portion of the Vacation Package price. Please note, however, that the Vacation Package remains intact. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per Vacation Package change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Subsequent changes to your Vacation Package will result in additional change fees. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee changes, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 4 days prior to the arrival date and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. Option 1: Vampire Tour in San Francisco - Tonight it's time to learn the darker history of San Francisco! The tour begins at 8:00 pm. Hotel pick-up is not included, so you will be responsible for providing your own transportation to the Nob Hill departure location. This tour is all about history...with a twist! For over 100 years, Nob Hill has been home to San Francisco's rich and famous citizens, elaborate mansions, and the city's finest hotels and restaurants. But beneath all this wealth and opulence lies a secret. Vampires live in the tunnels below Nob Hill! Don't worry, you won't be going underground on your tour. It's a fun, light-hearted event for the undead or prospective undead with a sense of humor! You'll be guided by a Vampiress, made by Count Dracula in London in 1897. Hear her story and learn how Vampires have played an important role in the shaping of San Francisco. Dress warmly, it can be quite windy on top of Nob Hill. Feel free to join the "spirit" of the tour and dress in costume! You must choose between this tour and the San Francisco Ghost Tour for your Friday night activity.
Option 2: San Francisco Ghost Tour - If vampires aren't your thing, learn about the other supernatural beings of San Francisco. The San Francisco Ghost Tour begins at 7:30 pm. Hotel pick-up is not included, so you will be responsible for providing your own transportation to the Chinatown departure location. Chinatown's supernatural past and present are brought to life as you explore the historic and mysterious streets and alleyways. You'll be on edge as you hear the folklore of this spirited San Francisco enclave. Some say the specters from decades of Chinatown history emerge just after twilight! Follow along by lamplight as you learn about the reverence offered to the Goddess Kwan Yin and the hungry spirits, along with the secrets of the magic moon cake. Ancient Chinese mythology and folklore flourish to this day in the oldest and most popular Chinatown in all of North America. Don't miss out on this spill-chilling experience! You must choose between this tour and the Vampire Tour in San Francisco for your Friday night activity.
Morning: Castro Cruisin' Historical Walking Tour in San Francisco - Walk through Castro, San Francisco's "Gay Mecca!" This tour will begin at 10:00 am. Hotel pick-up is not included so you will be responsible for providing your own transportation to the departure location in Harvey Milk Plaza. What began as a small farm community has transformed into the colorful district of today. Originally founded by Trevor Hailey in 1989, this tour is great way to view historical sites that illustrate a vibrant tapestry woven with tolerance, freedom and pride. A cradle to many civil rights movements, the diverse Castro community continues to make history every day! You'll visit the Pink Triangle Park and Memorial - a place of remembrance, reflection, and education, and a physical reminder of how persecution of any individual or single group of people inevitably damages all humanity. You'll also get to see the Castro Theatre. Built in 1922, this theatre is a popular San Francisco movie palace and historic landmark. You'll see the large neon "Castro" sign, a highly recognized emblem of the theatre and the Castro district that can be seen from much of the city. Enjoy other highlights like Harvey Milk's residence and camera shop, the Human Rights Campaign Action Center, and many unique shops!
Evening: San Francisco City Tour by Night with Dinner - Tonight, it's time to see what it's like "when the lights go down in the city!" You'll be picked up from the hotel at 4:45 pm, and your 3.5 hour tour begins at 6:00 pm. The evening will start with a delectable 4-course dining experience at one of San Francisco's first-class restaurants, Piazza Market. This fabulous restaurant is located in the heart of North Beach, provides wonderful food, fabulous wine, and an ambiance like no other. Fountains, Italian tile, Trompel'oeil ceiling and village facades evoke the feeling of dining al fresco in an Italian Piazza. As the sun sets over the "City by the Bay," you'll hop aboard a luxury motorcoach for a two hour guided tour of the highlights of San Francisco! You'll see Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, the Cannery, City Hall, Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, Golden Gate Bridge, North Beach, Palace of Fine Arts, Treasure Island, and much more.
