You will see the original houseboat and floating home communities, two historic ferry boats, art studios, wooden boat building shops and working boatyards. Hear tales of the Beat Era, Houseboat Wars, famous artists and the building of the Liberty ships. We will visit the Arques School of Traditional Boatbuilding and visit their collection of traditional wooden boats, considered to be floating works of art, and encounter an eclectic collection of older wooden boats including an infamous tugboat.
