San Francisco Photo Shoot

The City by the Bay has many iconic features and locations - the eerie fog that covers the city, Alcatraz the prison island, the hilly streets and avenues with tram bells ringing, and the world’s most famous! Some of the best places for photo shoots include Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Chinatown, Haight & Ashbury District, Mission District, Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate Park, The Painted Ladies, and Crissy Field Park.

On the Order Form, you'll be asked if you have a specific location in mind. Your photographer will try to fulfill your location request, but please keep in mind that accessibility to specific locations cannot be guaranteed for the date of your reservation. If your requested location cannot be accommodated, your photographer will contact you to discuss alternatives.

How it Works

1. Choose a package - Select the package that fits your occasion and make your booking. Answer a few questions on the Order Form, and your photographer will take it from there!
2. Meet your photographer - You’ll be contacted at least 7 days in advance with your photographer’s contact information and detailed directions to the meeting location. On the day of your reservation, you’ll meet your photographer, have a chat and get to know each other before beginning the photo tour.
3. Receive your photo gallery link - Within 5 working days you will receive a link to a private online gallery containing your beautifully edited photos - ready for download!

• Fly-by (Perfect for couples) - 1 hour, 1 to 2 locations, 30 digital photos
• Explorer (Best for up to 4 people) - 90 minutes, 2 locations, 45 digital photos
• Globe Trotter (Ideal for up to 6 people) - 2 hours, 2 to 3 locations, 60 digital photos
• City Trekker (Great for up to 8 people) - 3 hours, 3 to 4 locations, 75 digital photos

Frequently Asked Questions

How many friends can I bring along? -- It’s your photo shoot, but please keep in mind that the more people in your shoot the longer it takes for the photographer to organize and predict each shot. Use the Photography Packages guidelines to help you decide what's best for you.

Are the photographers professionals? –- Absolutely! They have been hand-picked based on their photography styles as well their personalities. They are friendly and approachable, and are passionate about what they do.

What’s the deal with proposals? –- There are no additional costs for a proposal shoot - weddings are expensive enough! Simply note ‘proposal shoot’ on the Order Form and let your photographer handle the rest. They will find a suitable proposal location for you (unless you already have one), and will spring out of their hiding spot to capture that perfect moment! At least 2 hours is recommended for a proposal, which allows for a post engagement photo tour.

Who is my photographer and where do I meet them? -- The process of finding you the perfect photographer based on your specific requirements begins as soon as you make your booking. Your photographer will also find the most suitable meet location for you, and will contact you with confirmation no later than 7 days before the shoot date. Rest assured that you will be provided with detailed information, including a Google maps link of the precise meet location and a photo of your photographer to help you recognize them.

What about the weather? -- Your photographer will have a back-up plan for bad weather, ensuring you still get the best of the location and the shots regardless of the weather. If the photographer deems the weather to be dangerous then they will do their best to reschedule.

What is the dress code? -- Dress smart for the day in order to get the best impact when showing off your beautiful photos. However, as there will be some walking, please also think practically to ensure your comfort.

I’m late for my photo tour, what should I do? -- No need to panic; you’ll be given the contact details for your photographer in advance so you can make contact and explain that you are running late. If you can’t find your meeting point or your photographer, just give them a call. The photographer will have your number too, just in case. Your photographer will do their best to ensure your shoot is covered in full but, as they may have other bookings, this is not always be possible and is at the photographer’s discretion.

Which photos will I receive? -- Your photographer is likely to take hundreds of photos during the shoot and will select only the best of the best to be included in the final cut. Those shots with closed eyes and funny faces will be left out!

When will I receive my photos? -- Your high-resolution photos will be professionally edited by your photographer and made available via an online link in your own private album, within 5 business days of your photo tour.

Will I own the photos? -- Yes, you can use the photos for your own personal use. Feel free to download them, print them, share them with friends and upload them to social media. Get the most out of your photos, but your photographer requests that you do not use them for any commercial purposes. Your photographer might want to show off your photos on their websites and social media profiles, but they will respect your privacy if you request to opt-out.
